Get rid if annoying captcha!

If you followed this blog for a long time, you might have seen my post about introducing reCAPTCHA (Added reCAPTCHA to webeno contact forms). Let me tell you something: you don't need any sort of captcha trick at all in order to prevent SPAM! And believe me when I tell you this as I have this new way setup and working perfectly, and have received 0 automated SPAM through my forms since its introduction!

Here is what I did:

Prevent streching images in galleria

Here's another quickie: if you're using galleria and your pictures get stretched by it (you may be using an unusual aspect ratio), here's how you can correct that error (assuming your 'galleria' is actually called 'galleria' and you want to have it 662px wide - obviously you can change these easily):

Prevent form reload (login, shopping cart... etc).

Today I was looking through my draft posts and saw this one about preventing form reload, and this is the note I took at the time: "set session variable to empty at form load, set it to something at successful submit, if session variable set when submit clicked, throw error" - well, yes, that was the first thought about it I found on the net, however, after I continued to look, I found that there is a better, more efficient way to do this:

Dynamic copyright notice to always display the current year

Another quickie, but it will be very helpful in making sure you won't seem to have forgotten about another important detail: Always Display the Current Year in your © Copyright Notice.
