Need to reload websites regularly using an O2 Wireless Box?

I struggled for some time now since I had my O2 Wireless Box IV as almost anytime I wanted to open a website, it did not want to load at all unless I reloaded it immediately. I looked up the internet for solutions, so changed my IP to fixed, changed my DNS settings and all, nothing helped. One thing I was sure about was that it seemed to be an issue with DNS. Website rebuilt by webeno - teklalight.com

Another refurbishment process ended some time back, I just really didn't have much time to post, so putting it up now. My good photographer friend asked me to rebuild her website a while ago (I wrote about this here in details when this happened in my post called Another website you'll see my link on). It now got a new name and of course an absolutely new design: teklalight.com. You may also check it out under the MadeByMe page of this blog.

How to copy website favicon

You may already know that the little icon appearing to the left of a website's page title is called a "favicon". It's an image file that has to be at least 16 x 16 pixels in size (the higher the better resolution of course), has to have the exact name of favicon.ico and be placed in the root folder of your website. There are alternative ways of using it, but this is the default. Today I'm just going to provide you with a quick trick: Bookmark and Share

New (refurbished) website under the webeno sky - MagicalMusicalEnglish.com

My good friend, Lisa had the wonderful idea to create a school where kids can learn English mostly using music, singing, and play. She called it MagicalMusicalEnglish.com. You may also check it out under the MadeByMe page of this blog.

Setup a second router as a repeater bridge

This one is not directly related to webdesign or blogging, but we are all using the internet quite regularly, many of us do so using the very practical and therefore just as much popular solution, a wireless router. I recently moved into a new apartment where I was using a wireless router supplied by the internet service provider (ISP), but the flat is pretty big, thus in one of the rooms the signal of the wireless router was very weak. In order to strengthen the signal, I had the idea to use another wireless router in addition to the already existing one. Bookmark and Share

How to create a (browser) "Back" link

I always wanted to know this, so I hit the internet and searched for it: I wanted to find out how I can create a Back link on my page. This can be very practical for example on a 404 (page cannot be displayed) error page, as this way if visitors came to your website from one of your pages (or any other website) they can easily click your Back link making your page even more user-friendly. Edit style of active page of your navigation menu

When building a website, it is crucial that visitors can easily navigate and know as to which page they are currently on. You may solve this by making the title of the page to stand out (like I did on this blog) or, the other way, it is actually recommended to use both if possible, you could style (eg. give a different colour to) the name of the currently visited page in the navigation menu.
